Sustainability Policy
For Joyland, sustainability is a central and important issue that pervades all our decisions. For us, sustainability covers two areas; to take social responsibility for our employees and customers and to minimize our environmental impact.
Social responsibility
- We care about the physical and mental well-being of our employees.
- We contribute to strengthening our employees' self-esteem and stimulate competence development.
- Our work environment is characterized by equality, opportunity to influence and general well-being.
- We protect our customers' privacy. Customers are always treated with respect, humility and helpfulness.
Environmental impact
- Our environmental work is characterized by care for people's health and the environment for future generations.
- We place high demands on our suppliers regarding production and the products' environmental impact by requesting verification and documentation.
- We minimize the number of transports by ordering products in large volumes. Transport takes place almost exclusively within the EU. We never use air deliveries.
- Our local electricity supplier supplies us with 100% renewable energy.
- We minimize the number of prints. Documents to customers are only sent electronically. This applies to invoices as well as order confirmations.
- Our deliveries are sent in renewable and recyclable corrugated cardboard without printing.
- We always consider the environmental impact when planning, making decisions and choosing products.
